FORMATION Advisory System and Advisors The advisory programme is an integral part of Whitesands School educational mission. The Advisor assists the student to form concrete resolutions in areas in which improvement is needed. In this role, Advisors strive to help parents in the upbringing of their sons. It is therefore important that parents should contact their son's Advisor to discuss ways in which the Advisor can help their son develop. Advisory meetings with students take place once every two weeks, and with parents at least once every term. Both parents are expected to attend each advisory meeting. A student may be excused from class to meet with his Advisor. |
